Having practised exclusively in the area of family law since her admission to the legal profession, our clients benefit from Kate’s wide range of experience which spans regional, boutique and national firms. Kate’s employment as Legal Associate to the Case Management Judge of the Family Court of Australia (as it was then known) gave her invaluable experience in Court processes at both the trial and appellate levels from the very outset of her career and entrenched Kate’s interest in advocacy.

Kate’s expertise has been recognised by the Queensland Law Society in their conferring to her the title of Family Law Accredited Specialist in 2021.
While Kate has experience across the breadth of issues which arise in family law disputes, she has a particular interest in complicated parenting matters such as those involving children or parents with behavioural issues or personality disorders and allegations of abuse, as well as complex financial matters involving corporate and trust structures.

Kate takes pride in the fact that her experience, coupled with her empathetic approach, ensures she is best placed to advise and support clients throughout their family law dispute, whether utilising Court processes or alternative dispute resolution forums to progress and finalise a matter.
